Goal 9 seeks to build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation. Economic growth, social development and climate action are heavily dependent on investments in infrastructure, sustainable industrial development and technological progress.

The SDG Logo: Version 2, the SDG colour wheel and the 17 SDG icons may be used for such informational purposes, and their use does not require prior permission from the United Nations nor the conclusion of a licensing agreement.

Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.

The 9 themes include poverty free, healthy, child friendly, water sufficient, clean & green, self-sufficient infrastructure, socially secured, good governance and women friendly villages. These themes are interlinked and inter-related to each other and concerned all SDGs.
